| HOW DOES IT WORKS? |
| Second-hand books Trade-in for New books |
| At the time of delivery, customer can trade-in their books to our delivery staff to get a cash rebate. |
| The discount depends on the condition of the book and is subjected to acceptance base on book category. |
| Please note that Trade-in discount is given per book, not for the entire order. |
| BOOK CONDITION |
| When trading in a second-hand book for a new book, the trade-in book will be evaluated and given a condition ranking. |
| EX – Excellent A perfect or near perfect book. May have very slight edge or corner wear noticeable only on close inspection. Discount value 50% or less VG - Very Good Shows light wear. May have a few edge nicks or a lightly worn corner. No bends, creases, or marring. Discount value 40% or less G – Good Books with moderate wear. May have multiple edge nicks and whitening along the edges. May have a light bend noticeable only on close inspection. Discount value 30% or less NG – Not Good Moderate to heavy wear. All edges show whitening and surface probably shows wear. Yellowed or color change due to aging can be observed. Discount value 20% or less R – Rejected Rejected due to extreme damage and wear to book. Rejection may also occur when book does not belong to accepted titles. Discount value 0% The trade-in book will be given a discount value ranging from 0%(Rejected) to 50%. This discount percentage will be deducted from the new book’s retail price. |
